Information we collect

Penguard collects only what is needed to operate the product:

Task and routine data you create (titles, durations, schedule).
Focus session status and completion history.
Device and app information (device model, iOS version, app version).
Purchase and subscription status handled through Apple and our paywall provider.

Microphone and speech

If you enable the voice unlock challenge, Penguard requests microphone and speech recognition permissions. Your spoken phrase is used to complete the challenge and may be processed by secure AI providers to generate responses or verify speech. Audio is used only for this feature.

How we use information

Run focus sessions, app blocking, and the journey progress system.
Provide support and troubleshoot issues.
Improve product quality and performance.
Process purchases and manage subscriptions.

Third-party services

Penguard integrates with third-party providers for payments and voice features. This can include Apple StoreKit, Superwall for paywalls, OpenAI for voice or AI responses, and ElevenLabs for text-to-speech. These providers process data only to deliver their services.

Your choices

You can disable microphone access in iOS Settings if you do not want voice unlock.
You can delete tasks and routines at any time within the app.
You can contact support to request help with data questions.
